Ingredients

For the Stuffed Salmon

1 large salmon fillet, butterflied

1 cup lump crab meat

4 oz (115 g) cream cheese, softened

2 tablespoons mayonnaise

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

1 garlic clove, minced

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped

Salt and black pepper, to taste

For the Roasted Shrimp

6–8 large shrimp, peeled and deveined

Salt and black pepper

1 teaspoon paprika or Old Bay seasoning (optional)

For the Lemon Herb Butter Sauce

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 tablespoons butter

Juice of 1 fresh lemon

Fresh parsley or dill for garnish

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crab Filling

In a medium bowl, combine the lump crab meat, cream cheese, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, garlic, parsley, dill, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and well combined.

2. Stuff the Salmon

Lay the butterflied salmon fillet flat on a work surface. Spread the crab mixture evenly down the center, then carefully fold the salmon over the filling to enclose it.

3. Sear the Salmon

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the stuffed salmon for 3–4 minutes per side until lightly golden. Transfer the salmon to a baking dish.

4. Roast the Shrimp

Season the shrimp with salt, pepper, and paprika or Old Bay seasoning if desired. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 6–8 minutes, or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.

5. Make the Lemon Herb Butter Sauce

Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir in the fresh lemon juice and chopped parsley or dill. Mix until fragrant and well combined.

6. Assemble and Serve

Place the stuffed salmon on a serving platter. Top with the roasted shrimp and drizzle generously with the lemon herb butter sauce. Garnish with fresh herbs and serve immediately.
